Victoria joined Burness Communications in October, 2010 as an associate on the Public Policy Team. She works with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Vulnerable Populations portfolio, which focuses on creating new opportunities for better health by investing in health where it happens – where we live, learn, work and play. She also develops online strategy with BurnessDigital.
Prior to joining Burness, Victoria was a Kaiser Family Foundation Health Reporting Intern at KQED News in San Francisco. She also interned at NPR’s Weekend Edition Saturday and WGBH in Boston, where she helped to develop a televised high school quiz bowl show. In 2008, she won a Fulbright fellowship to Taiwan.
Victoria holds an Ed.M focused on Technology, Innovations and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a BA in International Relations from Brown University. She grew up in Ohio and enjoys running, reading, baking, and yoga. She runs a personal blog and a blog about anthromorphic objects in her spare time.
