Tyler Weingart

Communications Coordinator for Health Policy

Tyler Weingart joined Burness Communications in June 2012 as a Communications Coordinator for the Health Policy team. Tyler provides communications support conducting media outreach, list development, event planning, research, writing and social media. He works on behalf of multiple clients, including the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Pioneer Porfolio’s OpenNotes and Project ECHO projects.

Prior to joining Burness as a full-time employee, Tyler worked as a media intern at Georgetown University Hospital and had been an intern of Burness for more than a year, assisting the Health Policy team while he completed his undergraduate degree.

Tyler earned both his B.A and M.A. degrees in Public Communication from American University in Washington, DC. A native of upstate New York, Tyler enjoys being outdoors, traveling and escaping to the Finger Lakes.
