Preeti joined Burness Communications in June 2000 and has since become a senior associate with the Global Health and Science team. Her work focuses on bringing media attention to global health and African agricultural issues, serving clients such as the PATH Malaria Vaccine Initiative and the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa. She has helped organize successful press briefings in Boston, Cape Town, Geneva, London, and Oslo and organized a three-day media and advocacy workshop in Maputo, Mozambique. Additionally, she leads the team's adoption of technological and multimedia advances, including developing a website and blog called BurnessGlobal.

Before joining Burness, Preeti studied at the University at Albany and worked for a nonprofit organization serving the neurologically disabled.
