Mina Addo

Senior Associate for Public Policy

Mina Addo joined Burness Communications in June 2010. As a senior associate on the public policy team, Mina works on a range of projects, including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Vulnerable Populations portfolio.

Before joining the team at Burness, Mina worked for Senator Byron L. Dorgan of North Dakota as a Legislative Assistant covering health and education issues. She led his efforts related to health care reform, including lowering prescription drug prices, eliminating lifetime caps on health insurance and improving Medicare reimbursement for rural states. Previously, Mina worked for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and at Russell Reynolds Associates. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.

When she’s not in the office, Mina enjoys reading, volunteering, traveling and most activities that involve art.
