Coordinator, Nairobi Office

Meredith Braden is the coordinator for our Nairobi, Kenya office. Her work includes handling day-to-day office operations, website updates and consultation for several clients, as well as providing media relations and client support to both Washington, DC and Nairobi offices.

Meredith has worked with Burness since March 2008 with groups that include Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa, the Global Crop Diversity Trust, and the World Agroforestry Center. Previously, she managed publication development, website redesigns, and online communications programs for associations, non-profits, and progressive political campaigns including the American Institute of Architects, Council for a Livable World, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Action Aid International.

Meredith received her bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, where she majored in International Studies. She earned her Master's in Public Policy from George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia where she specialized in Regional Economic Development and Technology. She also spent time studying and traveling in Mexico and India.
