Since joining Burness in January 2006, Matt has worked primarily for the Public Health team. His current responsibilities center on communications, media relations, and Web content development in support of the childhood obesity prevention efforts of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. He also occasionally assists on broader public health issues such as emergency preparedness and tobacco control efforts. Matt is a 2005 graduate of the University of Virginia with a degree in psychology and bioethics. He lives in Washington, DC and enjoys the local music scene and hiking in Virginia and Maryland.
