Lowell Dempsey

Communications Coordinator for Health Policy

Lowell Dempsey joined Burness Communications in March 2011 as a communications coordinator for the Health Policy team. Lowell provides a range of communication services, including media outreach, list development, research, writing, event planning, and social media support. He works on behalf of clients including the journal Health Affairs, the Office of Minority Health, and the Kaiser Family Foundation.

Before joining Burness, Lowell held communications internships with the U.S. Agency for International Development and Lockheed Martin where he provided internal communications support and conducted social media outreach.

Lowell earned his B.A. in Communication from the University of Maryland. A Maryland native, Lowell enjoys reading a good book, eating seafood and cheering for his hometown sports teams.
