Julia Keyser

Junior Associate for Public Policy

Julia Keyser joined Burness as a communications coordinator for the Public Policy team in March 2009. She works on a range of projects, including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's childhood obesity initiative and Ceasefire, a Chicago-based project to reduce gun violence.

Before coming to Burness, Julia interned in the office of U.S. Representative Michael Arcuri (NY). She also interned with the Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C. and Horizons for Homeless Children in Roxbury, MA.

Julia graduated from Tufts University in 2007 with a B.A. in Political Science and Environmental Studies. As a Natural Resource Management Peace Corps volunteer in Togo, West Africa, she worked on a number of public health and sustainable agriculture projects in her village. In her free time, she enjoys being active outdoors.
